With Multiband 6, even when far away from the Internet, the PRW-B1000 tunes in to radio signals to calibrate the time in places as far flung as Japan (2 stations), China, North America, the UK, and Germany.

The fully automatic double LED light illuminates both the analogue and digital displays with just a tilt of the wrist — perfect for when your hands are full or visibility is low. Large buttons designed for easy operation even when wearing gloves are sure to make this timepiece a favourite.

Sync with your smartphone via Bluetooth for automatic altitude correction, use the Location Indicator feature to check the direction of your destination, and count on the Time & Place to keep a record of your activity. Simply tap on the app to effortlessly manage alarms and timers.

The metal bezel features sharp, straight lines inspired by the iconic giant rock walls of Yosemite, a renowned destination for outdoor enthusiasts from around the world. The sturdy design exudes the quality befitting a high-end PRO TREK.

Solid design inspired by iconic Yosemite rock face

Yosemite’s iconic rock formation is the very image of the steep rock faces that climbers revere. Its form is echoed in the sharp edges, multifaceted form, and corner slits, representing cracks in the rock face, of the stainless-steel bezel. Large metal components for the side buttons and crown give the timepiece a solid look and feel. The multilayered dial structure emphasises a sense of depth, while large watch hands and raised indexes deliver enhanced readability. The indicator in the inset dial at the 9 o’clock position evokes the piton — a symbol of the evolution of climbing gear in the 1970s.

Dura Soft band (CNF-reinforced rubber) for wearable comfort as well as functional utility

This is the first Casio watch with a band reinforced with CNF, a functional bio-based material turning heads around the world. CNF kneaded into rubber resin creates a band that retains its lightweight flexibility, while adding the strength and durability to withstand environmental factors that adventurers need when heading outdoors. The band is designed with just the right thickness to ensure a great fit.

Cellulose nanofiber (CNF)
A bio-based material made from wood-derived fibers refined to the nanometer level. In addition to high tensile strength and the ability to withstand hydrolysis and low and high temperatures, this environmentally responsible material can be processed with either material or thermal recycling.

The centre case is made from flame-retardant resin produced from bio-based resin. With this certified V-0 grade UL94 material, flames self-extinguish when the ignition source is removed, preventing them from continuing to burn. A safety precaution to free you from worry when sparks are flying from the cook stove or the campfire.

The watch is equipped with Location Indicator, a useful function for outdoor activities to help you locate where you are and where you’re headed. The indicator hand in the inset dial at the 3 o’clock position shows the direction of a point set on the app map,* and the LCD displays the distance from your current location. You can also save your current location on the map using the watch. This is useful for finding your way back when you descend a mountain or need to locate your parked car. Used in conjunction with the digital compass, which indicates north via the watch’s seconds hand, this feature delivers reliable guidance in any number of outdoor scenarios.
