Phosphorescent LCD: Useful for nighttime activities

The first phosphorescent LCD in a Casio watch. A phosphorescent sheet beneath the digital display emits a soft green glow in the dark. Just 1 minute of exposure to a 200-lumen mountaineering headlamp from about 5 cm away can provide enough power to illuminate the display for up to 1 hour. This feature is useful for quickly checking the time in the dark.

Comfort design with enhanced fit and operability

The smaller case does not impede wrist movement and won’t get caught on your shirt cuff. The compact size also sits comfortably on slimmer wrists, too. The case sides feature large direct-measurement buttons that allow single-push measurement of compass bearing, barometric pressure/temperature, and altitude. The non-slip knurled finish makes for more intuitive and accurate button operation, even when wearing gloves.

Attention to materials: Bio-based resin

Key resin components used in the band (PRW-35LD), case, case back, and more are made with bio-based resin, a material expected to help reduce environmental impact.

Triple Sensor (digital compass, barometer/altimeter, and thermometer) senses natural changes
Multiband 6 radio control and solar power for accurate timekeeping
Super Illuminator (high-brightness full-auto LED backlight) for maintaining watch readability in the dark
