For general maintenance, keep your watch away from substances like thinner, gasoline, solvents, oils, fats and products containing such ingredients. Exposure to these can lead to discolouration or damage to the resin case, leather, band or other components.

If you won’t be using your metal or resin G-SHOCK for an extended period, clean it thoroughly before storing in a cool dry place. Avoid placing it on a car dashboard, near heaters or in other areas with extreme heat. Similarly, keep it away from environments with very low temperatures.

Press and hold the adjust button until your watch emits a beep signalling that it's in setting mode. Use the mode button to navigate to the hours setting then adjust the time by pressing the forward or reverse buttons. Then, press the adjust button again to leave setting mode and your G-SHOCK will automatically update to reflect the changes.
