The MTG-B4000 features an updated Dual Core Guard structure developed with the aid of artificial intelligence and an all-new frame design that combines carbon fiber and stainless steel. This unprecedented exterior achieves a new harmony of strength and beauty, pushing the frontiers of design.

This timepiece is a seamless collaboration between AI capabilities and human developers, creatively integrating materials, structure, and design into an organic whole of functional beauty. Base designs created by human designers were analyzed and simulated by AI to generate an optimized 3D prototype, which was then further refined by the human hand to achieve a unique form that organically synthesizes functionality and beauty.

The intricate, dimensional form of the frame is cut out from a base material of laminated carbon and glass fiber sheets, creating a beautifully layered pattern. The stainless-steel components of the bezel are polished with separate hairline and mirror finishes for a sophisticated textural look.

The watch employs the Triple G Resist structure to withstand shock, centrifugal forces, and vibration. The case is also protected by the intricate dimensional form of the case back, which is created using metal injection molding (MIM), a method of metal processing in which fine metal powder is injected into molds.

With the MTG-B4000B-1A2, we introduce a newly developed blue-gray ion-plating on the bezel and other stainless-steel components.

The meticulous attention paid to every detail is apparent down to the sapphire crystal, which delivers high transparency, and the delicately crafted dial achieved with fine processing technology from Yamagata Casio.

Co-creating with AI to break new ground in toughness-driven design: Original new structure incorporating a frame made with a combination of materials

The structure and exterior design were developed collaboratively by human designers and AI, creating a bold new frame that integrates carbon fiber and metal materials. Paired with the Dual Core Guard structure, this innovation further elevates MT-G toughness and cutting-edge design. A novel approach integrates band connection parts directly into the frame, effectively reducing shock transmission to the case through a hybrid carbon-metal structure. To further enhance impact resistance, a screwless design securely attaches the metal lug components to the carbon frame, ensuring exceptional durability and resilience.

AI-assisted development process
AI was used to analyze and simulate base designs created by human designers. Drawing on the extensive data on shock-resistant structures in the G-SHOCK world, optimized 3D prototypes were generated to meet specified structural strength and material property requirements. These prototypes were further refined via repeated manual adjustments, achieving unique forms that seamlessly combine functionality and beauty.

The frame is cut out from a base material consisting of laminated carbon and glass fiber sheets to create its intricate, dimensional form. The beautiful layered patterns created by the pair of different materials are incorporated as a design feature. Configured to interlock with the bezel, side buttons, and case back, it offers a beautiful side view accentuating the combination of materials.

Meticulous metal finishing for a solid luster

Sallaz polishing is applied to certain mirror-polished surfaces to create smooth, beautiful, distortion-free finishes. Separate hairline and mirror finishes applied to individual components accentuate the beauty of the metal with looks of luxe refinement.
