The MTG-B2000YBD features a Dual Core Guard structure, which protects the module with a carbon monocoque case that seamlessly integrates the case and case back. Surrounded by metal exterior components, this innovative structure offers both lighter weight and enhanced durability.

The bezel frame is made with carbon materials, cut from a base plate formged by heat-pressed laminated sheets of carbon and glass fibre. The top-layer carbon sheet wraps around the sides at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions for greater strength, while tube-shaped carbon sheeting encircles the lugholes for enhanced durability.

The stainless-steel top bezel and buttons are finished in blue-grey ion-plating set against a black base for two-toned sophistication. The interchangeable layered-composite band makes the timepiece lighter, while adding special textural appeal.

With meticulous attention to detail, down to the sapphire crystal, which delivers high-transparency, and delicately crafted dial achieved with fine processing technology from Yamagata Casio, this design says luxe all the way.
