This collection is based on the GMW-B5000, GM-B2100, and GMC-B2100 — watches that inherit the iconic form of the DW-5000C, the first G-SHOCK. The top bezel, a defining feature of the design, is finished in black. Crafted from stainless steel, the bezel undergoes demanding processes of forging, cutting, and polishing to achieve a sharp, dimensional finish.

Full-metal shock-resistant structure: Staying true to origins and constantly innovating

Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the stainless-steel bezel and case. The shock-resistant structure maintained since the very first G-SHOCK is achieved in a timepiece with a metal exterior. Also, a three-pronged structure is employed for the connective part of the band to disperse shocks to the connecting pipes. Only the case backs of the GMW-B5000BT and GM-B2100BT feature a screw-lock construction that ensures a tight seal.

Meticulously crafted metal exterior

The bezel and case undergo meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing, precisely crafting them into robust, powerful forms. Dimpling is applied to metal band pieces to reproduce the look of the resin band design of the very first G-SHOCK.
