Bands in gentle colours derived from nature

The cloth bands undergo a colouring process using FOOD TEXTILE dyes extracted from food waste and plants that would otherwise have been discarded. Red turnip (GMDS5600CT-3) and sakura cherry blossom (GMDS5600CT-4) are just two of these original dyes. The soft pastel tones add gentle colour to your nature-minded lifestyle.

A brand of a fashion industry project focusing on reusing food waste to produce original dyes and providing threads and fabrics coloured using these dyes. The project supports a sustainable lifestyle with the concept of “breathing new life into what would otherwise go to waste.”

The cloth band is crafted from finely woven fabric, using traceable organic TRUECOTTON, a material recognised for its ethical sourcing. The band, accented with a metal buckle and band loops, provides a smooth, comfortable fit on the wrist.

Traceable organic cotton made at farms and spinning mills that can be specifically identified, providing assurance that it is produced under strict quality controls. Appropriate manufacturing oversight means products that make both the end user and the producer happy.

Starting with the DW-5600, modelled after the shape of the very first G-SHOCK, we made these watches even slimmer and smaller to ensure a better fit on the wrist and make this popular, iconic design easy to add to your wardrobe.

The bezel is made with bio-based resin. Produced using renewable organic resources, this material is expected to help reduce environmental impact.
