MUDMASTER collaborates with Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body, honoring their courage and achievements at the Dakar Rally

This collaboration with Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body celebrates their continuing participation in the Dakar Rally, known as the world’s most gruelling rally. Built on the MASTER OF G MUDMASTER GWG-B1000, the watch’s robust metal exterior components deliver high durability and wearability. The predominantly black aesthetic incorporates design elements and colours inspired by the desert in the moonlight, evoking the atmosphere of rally competition during night driving and mechanical maintenance under the moon. The bold design of the watch captures both the harsh beauty of the desert landscape and the demanding rally environment, embodying the compelling world of the Dakar Rally.

Multi-colour dial inspired by navigation system

The dial features multi-colour accents inspired by the navigation system in the Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body Dakar Rally vehicle. Red, blue, and yellow, selected from the display colours that convey vehicle information and driving conditions, appear on the indicators of the two inset dials and the seconds hand. These vivid colours ensure quick and accurate information reading as well as nighttime visibility, creating symbolic contrast against the black dial.

Band design evoking the desert in the moonlight

The urethane band design is inspired by the desert at night under the bright moon. The band features an all-over printed texture suggesting sand dunes against the black base, with the metal buckle also finished in black for a unified look. The band loop, adorned in gold colour with the Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body logo, represents the full moon floating in the night sky. The design evokes the harsh environment of the Dakar Rally, where vehicles undergo maintenance at bivouac during nighttime hours and driving sometimes extends into the night.

Special features to commemorate a special collaboration

The Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body logo is engraved on the case back, which features a multi-faceted form that expresses the robust and practical image of the rally vehicle. The watch comes in an all-original package with a unique design made with recycled materials.

Shock, dust, mud, and vibration resistance

The module is protected by a case made of carbon fibre-reinforced resin. The case also features cylindrical stainless steel components to guard the buttons, as well as gaskets on the button shafts and a screw-lock crown to prevent the intrusion of mud and dust. Also, the bottom and sides of the module incorporate αGEL to ensure vibration resistance.
