A premium, full-metal G-SHOCK MR-G timepiece for the sea — the titanium armour-clad, airtight MRG-BF1000 with ISO 200-meter water resistance — joins the FROGMAN family of full-fledged diver’s watches.

This MR-G diver’s watch takes the unique asymmetrical design, screw-lock case back and distinctive diving frog character — which were so popular when FROGMAN came out back in 1993 — to a whole new level.

Originally produced in resin, the complex design has now been remade in titanium, with each component crafted separately and polished meticulously for an entirely new feel of high-end quality. The watch is built with an intricate combination of over 70 exterior components, including an O-ring waterproof seal to deliver outstanding FROGMAN water resistance and special buffers to strengthen the shock-resistant structure — all while maintaining the beauty of form the MR-G line is known for.

For enhanced strength, we have developed a protective structure with fluro rubber buffers installed between the multiple bezel parts. This structure features face-guarding functionality that helps to absorb shocks from the front and the sides, as well as protecting the crystal.

The dedicated MR-G module features a gold-plated retainer plate. The screw-lock case back is fit with sapphire crystal finished in red vapour deposition and engraved with the iconic FROGMAN diving frog character.

The titanium band is finished with a deep-layer hardening process and DLC coating. The band is also extendable so it can even be worn over a wetsuit. Simply remove the side pins while pressing the buttons on the lugs’ undersides to quickly and easily swap out the band.

More than just handsome, this timepiece provides superior functionality, as well. Equipped with Bluetooth®, the hour and minute hands overlap and work in unison to form a single hand when in diving mode, making the minutes spent underwater easy and intuitive to see and delivering high visibility. MR-G diver’s watch with titanium band

This MR-G FROGMAN, crafted with a passion for design befitting the flagship line of the G-SHOCK brand, features a titanium exterior with a multi-component structure and a meticulously detailed finish — and now a titanium band specially developed for use in a diver’s watch. Projecting a commanding presence in every aspect of its design, this chronograph offers a robust yet intricate beauty of form. Red accents stand out distinctively against the base colour of black.

Highly airtight titanium exterior with multi-component structure offering ISO 200-metre water resistance

Lightweight, rust-resistant titanium is used for key exterior components — from the case, bezel, and case back, to the crown, buttons, and screws. The watch is made up of an intricate combination of over 70 exterior components, achieving a powerful and beautiful form. A protective structure offers face-guarding functionality with buffers made of fluoro rubber installed in the space between the bezel and case. A deep-layer hardening process and diamond-like-carbon (DLC) coating provide even greater strength and abrasion resistance. The case incorporates a crown and case back that both feature a screw-lock construction. These and other features throughout the design keep the watch air-tight to ensure water resistance for diving.

Titanium band designed for textural appeal and fit

The watch features a specially developed titanium band that offers a comfortable fit on the wrist thanks to its many moveable parts. Every link is painstakingly treated with a deep-layer hardening process and DLC coating prior to assembly, giving the band a premium-quality, intricate finish. The band is also extendable so it can even be worn over a wetsuit. Simply remove the side pins while pressing the buttons on the lugs’ underside to quickly and easily swap out the band.

Screw-lock case back made with an inventive combination of materials

Sapphire crystal is press-fit into the pure-titanium screw-lock case back, ensuring a highly airtight structure while improving the built-in antenna’s radio wave reception sensitivity. Casio passion for refinement, down to the finest details, is evident everywhere in the design, including an engraved first-generation FROGMAN diving frog character.

*Due to the screw-lock construction of the case back, the orientation of the logo and lettering on it may not match up perfectly with the dial.

Deep red accent colour for a striking sense of presence

The dial ring and inset dial ring feature accents in the G-SHOCK brand colour of red, creating a vibrant contrast with the base tone of black to express both strength and beauty. Red vapour deposition is applied to the case back’s sapphire crystal as well.

Clad Guard Structure: Adapted for diving

Protective parts are built into the crown and buttons to help absorb impacts to the module. The crown features an airtight screw-lock construction and incorporates buffering components made of highly water-resistant fluoro rubber. A special construction keeps the MR-G logo, engraved on the crown, horizontally aligned when the crown is screw-locked

Dive mode and tide graph mode: With full-analogue display

In dive mode, dive times and surface interval times are indicated by forward and reverse rotation of the hands. In tide graph mode, the watch displays tide graphs for a selected diving spot along with local time. Functions useful for diving are offered with full-analogue display.
