The analogue-digital combination GA-B010 features a large case with large, easy to read display. Deliciously detailed finishes — with a bezel ring treated to a vapour deposition finish, a sun-ray finish for the dial, and a metallic finish applied to the inset dial — add extra value to the toughness-oriented design.

This watch requires only solar power to count steps and display tracked data on the digital display. The watch also sends data to a paired smartphone via Bluetooth®, for full functionality at your fingertips. Simply tap into the CASIO WATCHES app for automatic precision timekeeping and to easily manage life logs from your phone. The watch delivers handy features like world time and stopwatch, as well as a high-brightness LED light that can be turned on and off using the large button on front of the case. Indexes and watch hands with phosphorescent finish ensure visibility even in the dark.

The watch is also made with bio-based resin, a material expected to reduce environmental impact.

Step tracker: Solar-powered operation for hassle-free use

The GA-B010 features a newly developed module incorporating a custom-designed LSI and proprietary algorithm to reduce power consumption. Compared with the previous model,* the step-tracking function consumes about 40% less power. This makes the GAB010 solar-power-only watch to count and digitally display steps. It counts steps automatically when you start walking. The LCD displays total daily steps, and a circular indicator shows progress toward goals. When it senses you haven’t walked for a set period of time, it alerts you with a message and a tone. Tracked data can also be sent to a paired smartphone for management in life logs using the app.

Special design features create enhanced textural appeal, including a sun-ray finish on the dial, vapour deposition applied to the bezel ring, and a metallic finish applied to the inset dial. The glass is attached with adhesive, which allows for a wide-face design while still ensuring a comfortable size for the wrist. Phosphorescent finish is applied to the watch hands and hour markers, ensuring visibility in the dark as well.
