The watches of the G-SHOCK Master of G line, developed for professionals working in the harshest environments, come equipped with even tougher functionality. And the MUDMASTER takes this even further with the ability to handle the roughest on-land environments, earning the appreciation and trust of rangers and rescue teams operating in extreme environments.

The comfortably sized GWG-B1000 features a metal exterior crafted with high-precision forging techniques and a carbon fibre-reinforced resin case that offers high strength and outstanding durability.

Radio-controlled and solar-powered, the watch is also equipped with a triple sensor that keeps you updated with direction, altitude, barometric pressure, and temperature readings.

Double LED lights and sapphire crystal ensure high readability so you always see the time and other readings, no matter what the conditions are like. Input a specific location in the app and the Location Indicator function moves the indicator hand at the 3 o’clock position to point in that direction so you stay on track at all times — even when visibility is obstructed by extreme conditions like sandstorms.

The use of bio-based resins for the case, some bezel components, and the band make for a watch that demonstrates the MUDMASTER commitment to the environment.

In addition to solar-powered radio control and Triple Sensor features, Smartphone Link connectivity is included as well, making it easy to set navigation end points, manage activity logs, and more. A comfortable size is realised with the watch’s metal exterior, achieved with high-precision forging techniques and the Carbon Core Guard structure of the case. A timepiece combining a carbon fibre-reinforced resin case that offers high strength and outstanding durability with metal materials.

Tough design inspired by professional gear

Inspired by the adventurous spirit exemplified by tearing across the wastelands in “overlanding” style, the design incorporates the solid, rugged look of off-road vehicles and survival gear. With the multi-dimensional form of the multi-component structure, the large-diameter dial, and oversized buttons, the chronograph delivers durability, operability, and readability, with exterior design combining practicality with aesthetic appeal.

Guard structure integrating components made with different materials

The timepiece employs a newly developed guard structure that combines components made with different materials: stainless steel for the bezel ring, upper and lower bezel guards, and front button guard, and carbon fibre-reinforced resin for left and right side button guards. For the bezel guards, the guard sections alone are cut out of components forged into bezel shapes. The complex moulded form of the front button guard is achieved with a high degree of precision using metal injection moulding (MIM). A diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating is applied to the materials’ surfaces to provide even greater abrasion resistance.

Dust- and mud-resistance plus vibration resistance, to withstand use in the harshest conditions

The buttons are protected by cylindrical stainless-steel parts, and the button shafts are equipped with gasket fittings. The crown features a screw-lock construction to prevent contamination with mud and dust. Also, the sides and underside of the module incorporate αGEL to ensure vibration resistance.

Carbon Core Guard structure

A carbon fibre-reinforced resin case protects the module, making the most of the high degree of strength and outstanding durability delivered by the carbon material to achieve a size ensuring a comfortable fit.

Key resin components of the bezel, case, and band are made with bio-based resins. Produced using renewable organic resources, the material is expected to help reduce environmental impact.
