Add a touch of colour to your classic style — a full-metal G-SHOCK with vibrant blue dial. The dial is finished in metallic blue vapour deposition, adding a striking touch of originality to the iconic stainless-steel bezel and band design. Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the bezel and case, with a three-pronged structure dispersing shocks to the band’s connecting pipes, to deliver all the shock resistance of a G-SHOCK in a full-metal timepiece. And the case back features a screw-lock construction to ensure a tight seal. The metal band pieces are dimpled to reproduce the look of the resin band design of the very first G-SHOCK. The stainless-steel bezel is meticulously forged, cut, and polished for stunning depth and dimension. A hairline finish is applied to the bezel top and a mirror finish to the beveled edges, creating a smart metal timepiece that truly shines.

Blue accents to complement the metal exteriors

Vibrant blue adorns the dial of the GM-B2100AD and the perimeter of the face of the GMW-B5000D. The distinctive metallic tone produced by the vapour deposition pleasantly complements the silver gleam of the full-metal exterior to add a stylish flair to the wrist. From formal to sporty to casual, these watches coordinate nicely with wardrobes of all kinds.

Dial finishes for a look of intricate refinement

Dual-layer dial construction is employed to present the inset dial and LCD portion with distinct finishes of their own. With a minute grind-mark finish and vapour deposition applied to the inset dial ring and more, precision die moulding technologies applied by Yamagata Casio deliver meticulously detailed surface finishes. In addition, vapour deposition applied to the dimensional index marks and the indicator hand emphasises the metallic texture, creating a dial design that complements the watch’s metal exterior.

Full-metal shock-resistant structure: Staying true to origins and constantly innovating

Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the stainless-steel bezel and case. The shock-resistant structure maintained since the very first G-SHOCK is achieved in a timepiece with a metal exterior. Also, a three-pronged structure is employed for the connective part of the band to disperse shocks to the connecting pipes. The bezel and case undergo meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing, precisely crafting them into robust, powerful forms, down to the intricately shaped back, which is the key to the precision fit. A hairline finish is applied to the bezel top and a mirror finish to the bevelled edges to maximise the textural appeal of the metal.
